How is this different from hiring a freelancer or agency?
A freelancer executes your brief. An agency dilutes it through four people. I challenge the brief, own the strategy, and deliver like a senior hire - without the overhead or the 3-month ramp.

We're a seed-stage startup - can you help us design from scratch?
Absolutely - it's actually where this work is most impactful. I've partnered with teams from pre-seed through Series A, and the earliest stage is where the right design decisions compound the most. No legacy system to work around, no committee to convince. Just a clean slate and a real problem to solve. We'll build your product foundation, design language, and core flows in a way that scales with you - not something you'll need to throw out when you raise your next round.

Do I need to manage you?
No. You'll get a weekly update and a standing 30-min call. Outside of that, I run independently. Most founders say it's the first time design hasn't felt like a second job.

What if we already have a designer on the team?
Good — I work above them, not instead of them. I bring the strategic layer: prioritisation, systems thinking, and senior decision-making your junior designer isn't positioned to do yet.

What happens after the sprint - am I locked in?
No lock-in. The sprint is complete in itself. But if you want to continue, the $3,500 applies toward your first retainer month. Most clients continue.

How do you handle confidentiality?
Everything we work on is covered under a mutual NDA signed at kickoff. Your IP is yours, fully.
